China Supplier Sourcing

Identify and shortlist qualified manufacturers matched to your product, MOQ, and target price — with a written comparison, not a factory list dump.

Scope

What’s included

  • Structured product brief and requirements sheet
  • Supplier research across trade platforms, industry directories, and my own network
  • Written shortlist with capability notes, sample MOQ, indicative FOB pricing, and risk flags
  • Introduction calls with the two or three best-fit factories
  • Sample coordination and side-by-side sample review

Process

How the engagement runs

01

Product brief

We turn your idea, existing sample, or spec sheet into a written brief the factory floor can actually price against.

02

Supplier research

Long-list against your MOQ, target price, and certification needs — usually 10–15 candidates before filtering.

03

Written shortlist

Two-page comparison of the top candidates: capability, price, capacity, verified pain points, and my read.

04

Sample rounds

Coordinate quotes and samples from the top two or three factories, then evaluate against your brief.

05

Handover

Introductions, pricing frameworks, and — if you want — direct handover to my factory verification or QC service.

Why work with Hansen

A quieter kind of sourcing — the one you actually wanted.

01 · Local

Shenzhen-based, PRD-wide

On-the-ground presence across the Pearl River Delta manufacturing hub — factories are hours away, not oceans.

02 · Independent

No hidden commissions

I work for the buyer, not the factory. Audits and quotes are transparent; incentives are aligned with your outcome.

03 · Technical

Spec-to-sample, in writing

Product briefs, tech packs, and pre-production samples with clear acceptance criteria — not verbal promises.

04 · Accountable

Pre-shipment QC

Independent inspections against AQL and your own spec, with pass/fail evidence — before the container leaves.

Questions buyers ask

Frequently asked.

How long does supplier sourcing take?

Two to four weeks for most consumer product categories, depending on brief complexity and whether physical samples are needed.

Do I own the supplier relationship after the project?

Yes. Factories are introduced directly to you. There is no exclusivity, no gatekeeping, and no commission on your future orders.

What if none of the shortlisted factories work out?

It’s rare but it happens. If the shortlist doesn’t produce a workable partner, we run a second round — usually included, occasionally at a reduced fee if the brief materially changes.

Ready when you are
