Factory Verification

On-site audits covering capacity, systems, compliance, and workforce — photo evidence and a written verdict, typically in your inbox within a week of the visit.

Scope

What we verify on site

  • Business registration, licences, and export history
  • Production capacity vs. your target volume and lead time
  • Equipment, tooling, and in-house vs. outsourced processes
  • Quality management systems and inspection records
  • Compliance status (BSCI, Sedex, FCCA, product certifications)
  • Workforce size, training level, and turnover indicators

Process

How the audit runs

01

Pre-audit prep

Confirm audit checklist against your product and priorities. Notify or don’t notify the factory, as you prefer.

02

On-site visit

Full-day inspection with photo and video evidence. Interviews with production lead and QC lead.

03

Written verdict

Structured report: green / amber / red on each dimension, with the two or three risks that actually matter for your product.

04

Debrief

30-minute call to walk you through the report and answer follow-ups before any commercial commitment.

Why work with Hansen

A quieter kind of sourcing — the one you actually wanted.

01 · Local

Shenzhen-based, PRD-wide

On-the-ground presence across the Pearl River Delta manufacturing hub — factories are hours away, not oceans.

02 · Independent

No hidden commissions

I work for the buyer, not the factory. Audits and quotes are transparent; incentives are aligned with your outcome.

03 · Technical

Spec-to-sample, in writing

Product briefs, tech packs, and pre-production samples with clear acceptance criteria — not verbal promises.

04 · Accountable

Pre-shipment QC

Independent inspections against AQL and your own spec, with pass/fail evidence — before the container leaves.

Questions buyers ask

Frequently asked.

Can you audit a factory I already found?

Yes. Factory verification is offered as a standalone service, priced per man-day plus travel from Shenzhen.

Will the factory know why you’re visiting?

Your call. Announced audits are more comfortable; unannounced audits are more revealing. I recommend announced-but-short-notice for most cases.

What’s the deliverable format?

PDF report with photos, capability summary, red-flag list, and a plain-English go/no-go recommendation.

Ready when you are

Need help sourcing from China?

A short brief and I’ll respond within one business day, Shenzhen time. No obligation, no upsell — just an honest read on whether I’m the right partner for your project.
